Beschreibung
Get to know Berlin through the eyes of a local historian. But don't worry, this isn't a dry lecture. Along the way, you'll learn to "read" the city and begin to unlock its secrets. As we walk though town together, you'll be able to ask questions and find out what life was like across the centuries, from the lost world of medieval warlords to daring attempts to escape from East Berlin—while standing on the very spots where these things happened. Far from being simple lectures, this walk is interactive. I'll pose mysteries and conundrums—just how do you escape across the infamous Berlin Wall?—and we'll work together to discover the answers and unlock the city's secrets. It's a great way to get to know your new temporary home.
