The Colosseum, symbol of imperial Rome, is the largest amphitheater ever built by the ancient Romans. The building that most embodies the power of Rome in antiquity. We offer you a private tour with a local guidethat will take you to discover the famous Flavian Amphitheatre, Roman Forum and Caesar’s Palace.
This tour includes a visit to the Colosseum underground, where the service staff handled all the material, the animals which were raised to the upper level of the arena. The area below the Arena floor remained unexplored until the end of the nineteenth century. The whole area was therefore excavated and brought to light in modern times.
The time needed to visit the Colosseum with underground is longer than that needed for a normal visit without underground. For this reason the tour inside the Roman Forum will be reduced.
One of our drivers will pick you up directly at your hotel, B&B or private apartment to take you to the Colosseum where you will meet your private guide and begin the tour.
Your private visit will continue immediately after the Colosseum with the entrance to the monumental area of the Roman Forum. After approximately three hours the tour will end in Piazza Venezia. Your guide will show you where you can take a taxi or Uber to return to the hotel.
We will purchase skip-the-line tickets for you that include both the Underground of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.
Tickets for the Colosseum underground sell out very quickly. If they are no longer available at the time of your booking, our office will try to get them from private agencies at a higher price.
The price of the Colosseum Underground & Roman Forum tickets is is Eur 50,00 per person. Your tour guide will have your tickets. The price may vary based on ticket availability.
You will pay the tickets only cash at the end of the tour, directly to your guide.

Full experience underground and arena tickets are nominative and show the visitor’s personal data. please note that these tickets are nominative for each group or family member and it will not be possible to change the name after the purchase. in case of mismatch with the identity document, access to the colosseum will not be allowed, nor will any refund be garanted.
