Your adventure of nonstop tastings begins at 9:30am when you meet your local tour guide in the center of Florence. Your first stop is at a traditional Italian Bar where you will taste two different types of coffee and also learn about the Italian roasting process.
At your second stop you will taste a “panino tartufato” (a truffled sandwich) in a delicatessen shop founded in 1885, which won vast recognition amongst the citizens for its gastronomic truffle specialties, and is still a Florentine tradition.
Learn about the history of the most important squares in Florence, where the Florentines used to shop and the San Lorenzo Central Market, where the locals do their shopping today. Here, you\'ll get to taste balsamic vinegars and extra virgin olive oils, “crostini,” and two different wines. Your knowledgeable guide will also introduce you to some traditional local dishes (please note that no recipes will be given).
After the market, you’ll visit a local “Enoteca” to taste two Tuscan wines, Italian cheeses, and two local cold cuts. While tasting you\'ll learn about the origin of all the delicacies.
Your final stop is at one of Florence\'s best gelato shops, where you\'ll round off you adventure of the palate with a yummy, fresh, natural Italian ice cream!
