Palermo street food is renowned worldwide not only for its unique flavors but also for its large variety. Discover the delicious traditional street foods (savory and sweet) of the city of Palermo with this walking tour through the main squares and street markets of the city center. You’ll experience places visited by real Sicilians only, such as bakeries and old inns. All places have been selected to offer you the most authentic street food. The group will be formed by a maximum of ten participants in order to let people enjoy the walk and interact with their local tour guide.

Your guided tour is not just about food! Itineraries are designed to offer you a complete overview on the history, arts, food and traditions of Palermo. Your tour guide provides historical information on the monuments and churches visible along the walk (the winter tour also includes the visit of the Cathedral) and shares the secrets of local cuisine and habits with you. Participants have the chance to discover the hidden artistic gems of the markets, not always easy to find otherwise.

At the meeting point, each participant receives a personal Passaporto del Mangione (“Foodie's Passport”), a special souvenir that will be stamped with the official StrEat Palermo Tour stamp after each tasting stop. A great way to take memories back home!

> Winter Tour (October to May): a relaxing 4 hour walk through the main squares, markets and monuments of the city center to taste the best Palermo street food. A perfect combination of food, art, history, and culture.

>Summer Tour (June to September): due to the high temperatures of the Sicilian summer, the tours from June to September are shorter. A relaxed 3 hour walk around the Capo and Vucciria market to taste the best local street food. Travelers are led around the alleys where authentic gems of the old city are hidden. During the summer tour you’ll have the opportunity to taste another Palermo specialty - the ice-cream sandwich!
