The cooking experience can be a lot of fun and allows a group of people on vacation to spend a few hours relaxing and participating in a common project: preparing a typical Sicilian lunch, all together after an exciting tour of the Ortigia market!

We will start our experience right from the Ortigia fish market, where if you are an early riser, you can buy the freshest fish in the world! But that's not all... You will be able to interact with the market operators, thanks to my friendship with all of them, you will be able to taste, ask for recipes and curiosities about their products and I will be the bridge between the local people and you! I will offer you a special EXPERIENCE full of tastings of the best Sicilian products and the most delicious wines. I will make this experience unforgettable even for the little ones. Together we will choose the menu of the day and buy all the fresh ingredients needed to cook in my professional kitchen of my restaurant, " Vistrò that's buono" in via Tommaso Gargallo n 24, Ortigia. But don't worry, the atmosphere at the cooking school too, which is located in the heart of the historic center of Ortigia, in Via Gargallo, will always be fun and suitable for all participants, young and old, just like at home! You can also prepare all recipes gluten-free, lactose-free, salt-free or otherwise, so as not to leave your daily diet!
After purchasing all the ingredients you have chosen for your lunch to prepare together, we will walk 5 minutes to reach my school on foot. After a short break with coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice or something else, we will start the lesson. You will wear your apron and then "hands-on"! You will eat at the table when lunch is ready, but also during the preparations, as you do at home!
The activity I propose will last about 4 hours and will start at 9.30 with an appointment in the square of the Temple of Apollo in Ortigia, or in your location if it's in Ortigia, I'll pick you up walking. Bring a hat with you to protect yourself from the sun and if necessary apply a protective sunscreen, then let yourself go and I'll take care of pampering you!
