A quick visit to Florence to concentrate the tour on the green Chianti hills. Florence, the city where the renaissance began, unique artistic center in the world and an unparalleled cultural heritage.
The first stop will be Florence; the drive is about 1hr. You will have time to visit the city on your own using all the info and instructions given to you by your driver. The wonders of Florence will be at your disposal for souvenir photos: the Duomo, Giotto’s Tower, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio and the famous Basilica of Santa Maria del Fiore. The landscape will completely change when arriving to the Chianti region. A unique landscape that in recent years has become a tourist attraction all over the world. History, culture, food and wine traditions are the main attractions of the Tuscan countryside.
If you wish, we can book lunch and wine tasting for you in a local restaurant. The price ranges from 25 euros to 50 euros per person. Reservations are required to make sure you find a table available for you and your party.
Your driver will constantly monitor time in order to have you back the ship by 5PM at the latest.
