Rome, Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter’s Basilica (10hrs)

The Rome & Vatican Tour will take you through Rome’s history extending nearly 2,800 years, during which time it has been the seat of the Roman Kingdom, the Roman Republic, the Roman Empire, the Papal States, the Kingdom of Italy and the Italian Republic.

If it’s your very first time you visit Rome you’ll be shown the main spots of the eternal city including the Coliseum, the Roman Forum, Palatine hill and the Circus Maximus, Capitol hill, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Square, the Pantheon, Venice Square and People Square.

This tour starts at 7:30AM. The driver will meet you right under the ship, holding a sign with your last name on it. At 2PM you will be at the Vatican where you’ll be introduced to your private guide who will show you both the Vatican Museums, St. Peter Basilica and St. Peter square.

At 4PM it’s time to go back to the port, hoping you enjoyed the day you’ve spent with us. Your driver will constantly monitor time in order to have you back to the ship by 5:30PM at the latest. Our vehicles and our drivers are fully authorized by the Port Authority to drive you or pick-you up right under the ship. You will not have to take a shuttle bus.

Rome can always offer you something different and more interesting, so if it’s not your first visit, just remember that our tours are flexible, so you can request your driver to change destination to arrange the tour as you prefer.

• We purchase the skip-the-line tickets for the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica.
• Colosseum and Vatican Museums tickets to be paid  (only cash) at the end of the tour directly to your guide.
• The final voucher/price will NOT include the cost for the tickets for the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums.

Vatican Museums are closed on Sunday, Easter, 19Mar, 01May, 29Jun, 14Aug, 15Aug, 01Nov, 8Dec, 25Dec, 26Dec. You will change the Vatican tour with the private walking tour of the Roman Forum, Caesar Palace & the Capitol Hill.
Colosseum is closed on 01May, 25Dec. Please note that for safety reasons the Coliseum can accommodate up to 3.000 people at once. This could lead to delays in access to the site, even for pre-booked visitors.
