Description

The Flåm guided tour is a journey filled with memorable highlights and fascinating stops.

We begin with a bus ride from Flåm through the Aurland village, and taking one of Norway's 18 official scenic routes. Along this winding road, you will be treated to magnificent views.

Our first stop, the Stegastein viewpoint, (an architectural marvel) allows you to “hover” above the UNESCO-listed Aurlandsfjord. It's an ideal spot for capturing stunning photos of the fjord and the quaint village lying 650 meters (2130ft) below.

Continuing on, we take the "Snowy Road between the Fjords" across Aurlandsfjellet mountain, entering a world apart from the rest of today's sights. This desolate landscape, blanketed in snow for most of the year, offers a moment of serenity. During our stop you will get the time to breathe in the fresh air and soak in the untamed beauty at a mountain lake and waterfall.

Next, our journey takes us to the old village of Lærdal, notable for its collection of preserved wooden houses from the 17th to 19th centuries that are still in use. Walking through the village feels like stepping onto a movie se. It's a perfect place for a pause, to explore and enjoy a coffee.

Afterward, we drive through the Lærdal Valley, following a river dubbed the "Queen among salmon rivers." The valley's unique microclimate is ideal for growing fruits like cherries, plums, apricots, and apples.

We make a stop in front of the Borgund stave church, a well-preserved medieval wooden church dating back to 1180, offering another excellent photo opportunity.

Our return route takes us through the world's longest road tunnel, the Lærdal Tunnel. Spanning 24.5 km (15.2 miles), this engineering marvel features caves lit with blue and yellow lights, mimicking sunrise and adding to the ambiance as our guide shares captivating stories.

We arrive back in Flåm with plenty of time for you to explore the charming village at your leisure.
