Rome and the Vatican Museums in a single day. You will meet your driver at 8AM for the first five hours (8AM/1PM) of tour. An English-speaking driver with a Mercedes van at your complete disposal for a private visit of the “Eternal City” and its most important monuments and historical sites (Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Venice square, Circus Maximus, Pantheon, Navona square and more). Our drivers are knowledgeable about the history and the culture. Your tour is fully customizable. Ask our team to build the perfect itinerary just for you. You can include destinations already offered on our regular tours or none. This is your private tour, so make it yours! If you wish, we have many ideas for what you may want to include. If you let our team of local experts know your interests, they will come up with all sorts of things! You can also ask your driver to change the itinerary based on your requests. 

At 1PM the driver will take you to the entrance of the Vatican Museums where you will meet your private guide for the three hours (1PM/4PM) guided tour. The private tour includes the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter’s Basilica. If you wish to have lunch before visiting the Museums you can ask your driver for a suggestion for a restaurant or a bar for a quick sandwich.

You will end the tour (4PM) in St. Peter’s Square. Your tour guide will show you where to take a taxi to return to your hotel.

We purchase the skip-the-line tickets for the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica.
Colosseum and Vatican Museums tickets to be paid  (only cash) at the end of the tour directly to your guide.
The final voucher/price will NOT include the cost for the tickets for the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums.
Vatican Museums are closed on Sunday, Easter, 19Mar, 01May, 29Jun, 14Aug, 15Aug, 01Nov, 8Dec, 25Dec, 26Dec. You will change the Vatican tour with the private walking tour of the Roman Forum, Caesar Palace & the Capitol Hill.
Colosseum is closed on 01May, 25Dec. Please note that for safety reasons the Coliseum can accommodate up to 3.000 people at once. This could lead to delays in access to the site, even for pre-booked visitors.
